Factors Influencing Commercial Risk of Accepted Companies in Tehran Stock Exchange

Abstract

Today, companies increasingly seeking to achieve the profit forecasts are more accurate, because the accuracy of earnings forecast could affect decisions on investing in maintenance or shares. This research aims at studying the factors influencing the commercial risk of accepted companies in Tehran Stock Exchange. The effect of stock market growth, company growth, profitability, the capital structure and income tax fluctuations during the years 2010 to 2015 on commercial risk of 120 companies accepted in Tehran Stock Exchange has been investigated. This research is correlational and analytical- causal based on tableau data analyzing (data panel). Software SPSS20, Eviews7 and Minitab16 were used for analyzing the research results. The results show that there is a meaningful direct relationship among the stock market growth, profitability ratio, income tax fluctuations and the companies' commercial risk. On the other hand, there is a meaningful converse relationship among the company growth, the capital structure and the companies' commercial risk.
